DRESS CODE GUIDANCE
If you ever wanted to cosplay as a British estate owner at a black tie affair, here’s your chance to go all out!
For women, you are welcome to wear anything from dramatic, floor-length ball gowns to cocktail dresses.
For men, choose a suit or tuxedo that fits you best! You are not required to rent / wear tuxes or a morning suit, but if you have one, please bring it out!
If desired, please use our wedding as an excuse to go all out for your outfits, hats, and fascinators - you really can’t overdo it!
A fascinator is a headpiece worn by women at weddings and other events in the U.K. It's an alternative to a hat, which women are also welcome to wear.
You really can’t go too big or too small with your head apparel. While it is not at all required, you won’t look out of place with a fascinator on at a British wedding - even if you’re an American!
We want you to feel comfortable and stylish. Cocktail or smart casual attire is perfect for the evening!
For ladies, a nice dress or a stylish top with a skirt or pants; for gentlemen, dress pants or chinos with a button-down shirt or a smart polo.
With the Casino theme, feel free to lean into glittery looks!
WEATHER
On average, mid-November temperatures in the UK are 6°C - 10°C / 42°F - 50°F. All events will be indoors with fireplaces lit! The church has heating but you may want a coat for the walk outside the church to the venue.
THINGS TO AVOID
For the wedding ceremony and reception, the bridal party will be in champagne dresses. You may want to avoid clashing with that colour, and also avoid any solid white (white-based patterns and/or white hats are okay!).

FORGOT TO PACK SOMETHING?
The venue has spare swimsuits in all sizes for the pool (and towels). There are also Wellington Boots and umbrellas available so you’re able to confidently wander the grounds!
